Darcy Dobson Productions is a UK based theatre production company founded in 2021.
We champion new writers, and specialise in developing and producing exciting and ambitious plays which help audiences to understand more about the world around them and the people in it.

ABOUT DARCY
Darcy is currently the Associate General Manager and Marketing Director for DEM Productions working on the new musical RIDE, and the musical adaptation of the best-selling novel THE BOOK THIEF.
She was previously Marketing Manager at Jermyn Street Theatre, where she has oversaw the marketing of over 25 productions including: FARM HALL (also Theatre Royal Bath), CANCELLING SOCRATES, FOOTFALLS & ROCKABY, and THRILL ME: THE LEOPOLD & LOEB STORY.
As Assistant Producer at Theatre503 she worked on productions including: MEAT, THE FAIRYTALE REVOLUTION, FOXES, 503RESETS FESTIVAL. She was a reader for the INTERNATIONAL PLAYWRITING AWARD.
Her work as an independent producer includes: BBTA nominated writer Safaa Benson Effiom's debut play TIL DEATH DO US PART (Theatre503, 'Best Production' London Pub Theatre Awards); IMAGINATION (Achates Award, Theatre Centre); NOTES ON LOVE AND BEING ALONE with Lesley Manville, Alison Steadman and Sophie Thompson (Crazy Coqs). After 15 years of marriage, Daniel and Sylvia find themselves drifting further apart with each passing day. Until one morning, they find themselves abruptly united by every parent’s worst nightmare…
The shoes have been polished, the vases are full and the phone is ringing off the hook, but there’s one thing they’re still missing… answers. Forced into a confrontation, years of resentments and things long left unsaid rise to the surface as they questions the circumstances that brought them to this point, and what happens to your relationship when the only thing holding you together, threatens to tear you apart.
A timely spotlight on parental grief, Til Death Do Us Part is the debut play of Safaa Benson- Effiom, and was a finalist in the 2020 Theatre503 International Playwriting Award and Soho Theatre’s 2019 Tony Craze award. Safaa was a finalist for the Black British Theatre Awards' 'Book and Lyrics Recognition Award', and received an OffWestEnd nomination for 'Most Promising Playwright'.
It won the award for 'Best Production' at the 2022 London Pub Theatre Awards.
